Homemade Hummus

Homemade Hummus

2 cups cooked chickpeas
4 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
Juice of 1 lemon 
1/2 cup olive oil 
1 red bell pepper, diced 
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon cumin powder
(If you do not have cayenne pepper and cumin powder you can use chili powder)
Salt to taste 


Purée all ingredients until smooth. Add water as needed to get a smooth consistency.
